QT4 is a Windows-based software that was developed (in the 1990s) specifically for the DESIGN of the Taguchi experiments and performing statistical ANALISIS of the results. The experiments for such studies are constructed by making use of a set of specially created ORTHOGONAL ARRAYS by Dr. Genechi Taguchi (1924-1912) of Japan in the 1950s. To many practitioners, this Tgauchi methodology is considered a more practicable and standardized version of the Design of Experiment technique introduced by Sir Ronald Fisher (1890-1962) of England in the 1920s.
